Grace in the Grasslands – A Serenade of Ostriches
In the golden haze of a mid-afternoon safari in the heart of Masai Mara, as we made our way back to camp after a rewarding first session, the vastness of the savannah still held its quiet surprises. Just as the Land Cruiser gently rolled over the ochre trails, a fleeting movement on the horizon caught my eye — a family of ostriches, treading gracefully across the open plains. Though distant, their presence was commanding. Their long necks swayed in synchrony, and their alert eyes scanned the wilderness, ever aware of their place in this untamed kingdom. I instinctively raised my lens, hoping to translate the poetry of that moment into a frame. The sky played its part — a soft cloud settled behind them like nature’s own canvas, lending depth, mood, and a quiet drama to the composition. The three ostriches, almost choreographed by nature itself, aligned in my frame with a grace that words could scarcely describe. This fine art print speaks of serenity in the wild, a rare and graceful glimpse of Africa’s gentle giants walking home under a watchful sky.
